We met on a dating site in January of 2020, right before the COVID-19 pandemic closed the world. Our dating experience was like none other we had experienced because our jobs required us to think carefully about our viral exposures and work rules. Perhaps that made us work harder to connect and engage in honest relations.

By 2024, we wanted to move in together, but our jobs were almost 60 miles away from each other. Should Greg quit and move into Shannon's house? Should Shannon quit and move into Greg's house? After consulting with multiple financial specialists, we BOTH decided to retire early. Greg was 61 and Shannon was 52. Our longstanding hard work in the education and medical fields had paid off.

Who Are We?

Travel was one of the many topics we enjoyed, and we spent hours talking and researching the locations and cultures we wanted to learn more about. It helped that we were both eager learners. We were awed by the brave people who chose to sell everything and become nomad travelers. Not sure if the nomadic life was the best pathway for us, we sold over half of our belongings and decided to travel in our GO-GO years. Our mutual passion for truly old architecture and nature will be the underlying current of our life throughout the next year and beyond. Join our journey as we dip our toes into the waters around the world to find new stone pathways to follow.
